Analoguesque is a company
specializing in the production of unique analog sound designs for a
range of synthesis products, from designers who have been in the field for over
10 years. Our main focus is on providing top-quality analog presets
for Emu® EOS systems, as well as systems supporting the SoundFont®
II format.
We also provide similar presets for other platforms, such as the Yamaha® SY77.
One of the reasons these platforms were chosen was because of the
lack of quality vintage sounds available for them.
Our aim is to provide you with the most unique
and interactive presets out there, concentrating mostly on analog and old digital textures.
Phatt and evolving pads, gritty leads,
thumping basses, blippy beeps and huge resonating sweeps ... these are at the heart of
Analoguesque designs.
Inordinate amounts of time are spent on our
presets, ensuring that every facet is perfected to create the best analog sound possible. We
use these in our own music,
and so it is always imperative that what we create be unique and extremely
versatile.
If a sample cannot be looped to perfection, we don't use it. If it
happens to be unintentionally noisy, we don't use that either. If it sounds too much like an
acoustic instrument, we usually toss that away too. This is what we do.
Our procedure is very clinical, and this gives our banks an extremely clean and
sharp sound that is very distinctive. Using extensive layering and sampling
tricks, we build lively analog sounds which defy the sampling genre we work in.
Our samples are generated using proprietary software designed to
produce a huge variety of analog waveforms with perfect loop points
and a very sharp and clean sound, unless of course we intentionally dirty it up.
In a nutshell, we squeeze every ounce of power
out of all our unique waveforms. Crystal-clear samples with shimmering
loop-points - no clicks or a pops in sight. You will always find Analoguesque
banks to be very small, but in contrast extremely powerful and versatile.
We are confident in our ability to squeeze huge-sounding presets into
very tight, explosive packages. What others fit into 8Mb, we squeeze into
512Kb! The quality of
our sound banks has no relation to their small size! Our game plan is to reach a
plateau of Small
equals Big, and we do achieve this. But don't take our word for it ...
